Preloaded bolted connection failure

Multiphysic simulation of a fusible part. An electric potential is gradually applied at each extremity of the plate. The joule heating effect will cause an temperature increase and an elongation of the part. When it reach the cylinder, there is a short circuit wich cause local high temperature wich erode the plate.

Simulation of impact protection structure with LS-Dyna. SPH elements are use to simulate the impact mass. Rendering is done with Paraview.

DEM-FEM coupled simulation of impact stress and strain in a convoyeur chute.

It is a impact simulation on a roof under high velocity. The result was rendered in Paraview 5.8.
